“Traditional, friendly and delicious food!”

I visited The Castle with my partner last Saturday for an evening meal and had a lovely meal within a traditional old building, surrounded by friendly, attentive staff. The food was excellent, being both hot and delicious and the menu extensive. If you want a superb meal without being ripped off then definitely visit The Castle - if you want fancy trimmings and small portions, all set within a trendy building, then go elsewhere!

“The Hotel on a hill....Wow!”

Wonderful break in a interesting & friendly village. Henry & Rebecca, although a young couple, do a great job of running The Castle Hotel which in itself is a stunning old place with lots of character. The room we stayed in was large & comfortable with the kind of floors you can only get in a building of this age. Very enjoyable fine food, real ales & open fires. Not forgetting the very memorable pub dog tiny little Millie who craves attention from all the guests. We very much enjoyed our Millie minding time!
