This is one place that really reflects the personalities of its hosts. Alyson and Jon Everett’s interests include food, alternative therapies, and tailor making the right conditions for that relaxing short break. Let’s take them one-by-one. Although it only opened a few years ago, Stoney Bridge’s breakfasts are already legendary – with the awards to prove it (how does the ‘Pembrokeshire Field Mushroom Feast’ sound?). They’re cooked to your requirements (and diet), and – reflecting your hosts’ flexible philosophy – are served until around 11.30am. There’s a dedicated therapy room offering everything from massages to reflexology. And the house itself, in the Everetts’ words, ‘bridges the gap between hotel and guest house’. It’s neat, sunny and spick and span, with attractive bedrooms (one with a double Jacuzzi) equipped with all the latest goodies. Saundersfoot and Tenby are just minutes away. The accommodation is for adults only.
