INGREDIENTS

 


  

METHOD

  1. In a mixing machine, with a dough hook, add water and yeast. Whisk until the yeast is dissolved.
  2. Add dry ingredients and butter or oil, mix for approximately 10 minutes until dough is elastic. You may have to add a little more liquid. Add flavouring if required, see notes below.
  3. Leave to prove until doubled in size, covering the bowl with a clean towel.
  4. Tip out onto the table and divide into balls of approximately 50g.
  5. Roll using palm of hand to shape into a ball.
  6. Place onto non-stick baking sheets and cover with tea towel and prove until doubled.
  7. Bake at 220°C for approximately 20 minutes until golden.
  8. We flavour our bread with various ingredients including raisin and caraway, rosemary and olive, parmesan and grain mustard.
