Set on a hillside amongst acres of garden and woodland, Cae’r Blaidd is the perfect base for exploring Snowdonia. This supremely comfortable country house has been completely refurbished but still retains much of its period decor dating back to 1879, including the dog-legged staircase and wood-panelled ceilings in the hall and dining room.

There’s a warm and welcoming atmosphere here courtesy of your helpful hosts Bob and Vicky Field. You can relax on leather sofas in front of a real log fire in the sumptuous lounge before enjoying a freshly prepared candlelit dinner.

The spacious, luxurious bedrooms are also of the highest standard. Cae’r Blaidd commands stunning panoramic views over the Vale of Ffestiniog and Moelwyn Mountains. This quiet and secluded location is a haven for wildlife, and waterfall and mountain walks lead directly from the gardens.
